The only famous person I ever met was Bill Clinton before he was president when he visited Wisconsin, I was a kid at the time however so I didn't even realize why he was so important and really didn't understand why I had to say hi to this guy I never met before.

Many years ago (mid 70's) I met, Bob Hope the comedian. It was in first class on a flight to the east coast.

He was the most down to earth and gracious person. Very personable, I was amazed at how he didn't shy away from talking to people. You would have thought that he'd avoid people, being as famous as he was, but he didn't.

He was a first class act.

I met Andre Agassi one time at the US Open Tennis Event in New York. He was walking by on the grounds and I was lucking enough to get his autograph despite being trampled over. He's a very nice person. Took time out from what he was doing to sign about 100 autographs when it was not the time where you can meet the players to get autographs.

I was in a hotel bar with some co-workers in Los Angeles and Randall "Tex" Cobb came in and had a few drinks by himself. He came over and talked with us for a few minutes, he was a big man, very big man. Nice guy too.

Sat in the waiting area for a flight with Johnny Cash and family (June and kids) back in the early 80s. Johnny was a tall man, very tall man, all dressed in black of course.

And I rode in an elevator with Malik Rose of the San Antonio Spurs during the 2003 play-offs in Phoenix, they/we were staying at the Westin Kierland Resort. Another tall man, very tall man.
