Why should he buy a game for you? Get a job and get one yourself.

It sounds like you are being very selfish, and he probably doesn't understand your behavior. Make your own money to buy the things you want verses getting upset with some one else for not buying things for you. Your friend is entitled to change his opinion even though you counted on him handing the game over. He did make a commitment to you, but for whatever reason changed his mind. Perhaps that should be the pondering question as to why. Do you return the favors and buy things your friend wants also, or is it more one sided? The bottom line to this is you need to buy your own things.

Ok, we are about the same age except I am a girl. If you are AT ALL interested in girls than you should know that most of them don't care about video games or anything like that. Why is it a big deal that he didn't get it for you? Do you need it THAT badly? Go over to his house every now and then and play it. You could save up some money, or ask your parents to get it for you. Things will happen in time. Your friendship is more important than a video game. In 20 years that video game won't mean anything to you, but your friend might... Believe me, don't burn bridges. You'll need them someday.

hmmm last time I checked , these games are quite expensive...you may have bugged your friend to get you one..and he tried with you to find it..but to no avail..there were none to be found...when he returned home and was able to purchase one...of course he was going to buy it for himself, and since it's a new game,..he's not wanting to lend it out.. Sorry to say..but you can't be mad...like I said..these games don't come cheap* so not sure how your friend could say he would buy one for you* but cuz he bought it and kept it....you can't be Mad with him..disappointed YES...but mad...No*
Talk to him and ask when you're able to give it a go, when can you borrow it...or when can he come over next to play the game with you. Unfortunately nothing more you can do other than try to buy one yourself.
Sorry*

Stop expecting. When someone says they will buy it for you, they are doing it out of kindness and to show you how they care. Dont be a spoiled bratt and act like a baby. Merely forget it and dont expect it so if you do get it, you will appreciate it.

Act like you don't care about the stupid game. Make him feel guilty and maybe just maybe he'll give it to you or at least let you borrow it.
