Ok, this has been bugging me for years and still can't remember the song. I don't remember the name nor the group that sings this song. I can't even remember the tune. All i remember is that i liked the song.
All i remember from the video was the singer, with blonde/dirty blond shoulder length hair singing to a woman accross a pond or river. As he is singing to her, he walks through the pond to get to her. I think she sings back to him and she has blond long hair.
I thought at one point, was "waiting for a start to fall" by Boy Meets Girl. But recently seen the video and its not.
I hope someone can help me, it's one of those things that just bugs you for years. :)

:( Unfortunatly, its none of those, tho I really thought it was Ferry, but was able to find video on youtube.com and it wasn't. It was in the late 80's.
This has been bugging me for years and i can't believe it still hasn't come to me. LOL. Thank you all who answered tho. :)

hi i think it might be bryan ferry of the band roxy music,in the early 80s he had a video called avalon ithink part of it if i remember had him singing to woman across a lake or pond but iam not sure.hope this helps
