Why exactly?
You would be just another fake.
I'm emo (a real emo not a fake one who pretends to have a depressing life)

You can't "go emo" over the summer

If you really want to, buy the book Everybody Hurts: An Essential Guide to Emo Culture
by Trevor Kelley, Leslie Simon
It will tell you everything you will ever need to know about emo.

Another book alot of emo's have is Nothing Feels Good: Punk Rock, Teenagers, and Emo
by Andy Greenwald

You can email me too if you want at cassidy5036 @ yahoo.

I hope you're trying to copy the style,, not the people. Emo is like one of the hottest styles,,especially in Europe. If you want to change your style, where things like skinny jeans. Get some vintige jackests like at hot topic. Black skinny pants. Black belts with "spikes" Get long razor like bangs and spike the rest of your hair,,do a really dark hair color, or like extreme blond. I hate red but black and red are emo colors, black and green, maybe blue. Wear small T's and like throw on a red or white tie with it w/ sneakers.

Don't change your music preference because of a style!

okay If you want the emo look that is fine but please don't cut yourself...
by the way that is more of an emotional problem then being emo so don't just do it to try to be like others!

thats hilarious.......

anyway, look up flock of seagulls (they were a band in the 80's), and get your hair done like one of them. oh by the way, start growing your hair NOW!

also wear black eyeliner, lots of it. and maybe some purple mascara, or green. also wear funny color striped socks, like green and black. make sure you have an oversized, all black hoody.

emo.......it seems your age group thinks it has a new style.....it is really just a mixture of punk and new wave.

good luck being a poser.

WHY POSE?....

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO TO LOOK EMO IS LISTEN TO PUS*Y MUSIC, WEAR YOUR SISTER'S CLOTHES AND PAINT YOUR NAILS PINK....OH...AND HAVE MEDIUM-LENGTH BLACK HAIR WITH PINK HIGHLIGHTS

I DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PEOPLE WHO ARE EMO...BUT I DO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THOSE WHO JUST WANT THE EMO IMAGE!!!

I'm going to assume (and hope) that you're joking.
If not... that's sad. Why be a label?
