I campaigned for a conservate Republican in 2002. He was not supported because of his "looks" and he was "mean". Instead the party supported the GOP approved candidate which ended up losing anyway. I left the party in 2004 after a disasterous Governor campaign. I have heard nothing but good things about Ron Paul since I joined the party in 1994.

Ron Paul is not beholden to the corporate interests. Majority of the politicians in office are servants to the corporations and their various lobbyist groups.
Ron Paul is actually a Libertarian and majority of his supporters come from the people, not the corporations.
This country would certainly be better off with more true "for the people" politicians.
Therefore, the good fight against the corporations must be fought again and again. We will loose along the way but eventually, someone like Ron Paul will break through in the presidency.

I agree that Ron Paul is our only shot of taking the country back for the people. The reason he won't get elected and more people like him don't get elected is he is honest and intelligent. Most people aren't very intelligent or they are passive about politics. And most people would rather hear pretty dressed up lies than the ugly truth. That's why Ron Paul is already being hung out to dry. He told the truth about America's foreign policy, people would rather vote for someone who says America is great all the time and we must bring the evildoers to justice. Oh well.

Isn't Ron Paul the the most amazingest wonderful perfect person ever! He's right up there with Jesus!
You know me so well Thomas... Questions like this get asked about 100 times a day in a blatant attempt to get him name recognition. If that isn't this guy's intent, then he's taking the brunt from everyone else doing that. I've done plenty of research on the candidates, and could give a rat's behind about anything you just listed (I've never seen any of the shows you mentioned and I believe the media coverage of those people is a ridiculous as you do). What I meant I was sick of these same "questions" being used to blatantly get a candidates name out there -- I'd never imply that people shouldn't learn about candidates. Lighten up.

I will vote for Ron Paul
Shelly, you sick of Paris Hilton, Brittany Spears, Anna Nicole, OJ, American Idol, Dancing with the stars, The Bachelor? What makes them so special that they are in the news 30% of the day? Is it to keep people distracted from real issues? Does MSM define a president for us, or are we in charge? Do we care?

I don't get the Ron Paul supporters. I am beginning to wonder where they are from.
My opinion is that he just lost his primary next year. I don't know who is running against him, but he has already lost. His comments during the Republican debate will be pounded on and pounded on. He threw it all away. And he did it on national television.
Well, maybe former-President Carter has a job for him.

I am definitely not a Ron Paul supporter. I think his chances of getting the nomination are zero.

If you think, then you can't be like Ron Paul. Example: 9/11 was not OUR fault (Ron Paul said it WAS).
