To cheer = Plaudere
I cheer = Plaudo
Cheering = Plaudens - as an adjective. Multitudo plaudens = the cheering crowd.
To lead cheers = Ducere plaudentes (literally, 'to lead the ones cheering')

Duco plaudentes = I lead the cheering.
