He did not write the decleration of indipendens. Is a matter of fact, I never heard of the decleration of indipendens!

I am not sure, but I think he (and the rest of the American rebels) felt like it was an important document and I'm sure he felt that declaring independence from British rule was a good and smart thing for the American colonists to do.
