I recently had to re-install windows again and one thing that I want to change is my browser's refresh option...When I do something, for example on myspace,I cancel a friend request, but I want to go back and look at their page,I hit the back button after i cancel the request to see the request still there...the problem is when i hit the back button,it completely refreshes a previous page or I have to refresh it myself...this is just an example...I want to be able to view 'back' pages without it automatically refreshing itself, how can i do this?

dixie, that's not what I mean,i can see any page just fine, but it refreshes it everytime i go back...if I write a long reply to something and maybe i decide to do a spell check on a word by searching, when i decide to go back what i wrote is gone [or refreshed]

go to internet options in your browser, then in the general tab there is the browsing history section, in here click settings, in that settings tab there are options, select the one that says automatiaclly or never. If that doesn't do it, then it is the website that is cauing the page to refresh and there's not much you can do about that.

Click the down arrow, next to the forward button, and it will show you recent pages that you visited. Click on the page that you want, and it will take you to that page..Good Luck..

I'm not sure if you can, but next time you want to, click File --> New --> Window and it will open another window. Do what you want with that window and just view the previous window that you want to look at.
