Does it feel like a regular free falling ride where it feels like your guts are up to your neck?

It is not a cute cotton candy ride like the flying Dumbos. But it is not as scary as Mission Space or Test Track, either. You will drop many times. And to top it off, they will take a picture of you while you are dropping. I thought it was a very fun ride.

Tower of Terror is pretty much like a normal free falling ride only your falling 13 stories and a computer controls the drops so each time u ride there will be a different number or drops and at different Lents (exp. 2 long 3 short. 4 short 1 long ext.) When i ride it it doesn't make me feel like my guts are coming up to my neck though lol. A fun trick to do is put a penny on ur knee and when u drop it will float careful though u might want to keep an eye on it ^^.

Tower of Terror is FASTER than a free fall. You don't just fall to the ground, motors actually push you down. If you like drops on big roller coasters, you'll enjoy it. And you don't just fall once. The ride has a random drop sequence, so you could drop 3 or 4 or 5 times... For some reason, I don't get the "guts in the neck" feeling as bad on this as I do some roller coasters that I know don't go as fast.

Tower of Terror in Disney's MGM Studios. Rockin' Roller Coaster and Space Mountain are fun, not scary, unless you are scared of roller coasters in general. The Haunted Mansion is pure cornball - like an old Abbott and Costello movie. Tower of Terror is very well done, with a good story-line and some really cool special effects. Then there is the anticipation of the plunge - that really gets you.

It's not quite as bad as other free-fall rides because, for the most part, you can't see the area around you as you fall. My 6-year-old cousin went on it without any problems.

I will admit to anyone I am a chicken with a weak stomach. I rode once, and am proud to admit the experience, but never again. Then again my 10year old niece loved it and talks about it constantly. It is all a matter of the person's ride type preference.
