I am the only one that gets your joke. Though Minnesota had a decent defense last year.
However, Des Moines would be an interesting place to have a football team, though I think Omaha would be a better choice. Iowa generally roots for the Bears.

Have you seen the quality of football going on in Iowa? They definitely have enough land to build a stadium but Des Moines isn't a large enough market to support it. Anyway there is a pro team in Iowa....the Barn Stormers. Those guys get paid to play football by definition thats a pro football team. Maybe the Iowa folks should work on their college ball before they step up to the bigs.

Not a big enough market, even though they are football crazy in Iowa, They won't generate enough revenue to entice some Million/Billionaire to create or move a team there

Uh, Minnesota HAS one! As for Iowa, they couldn't even support an Arena Football team! The markets are too small.

There's nothing in iowa and the entire state population couldint fill the stadium. Plus their college team would be better.

Are you amazed at the people with no sense of humor? OK, maybe if one is from Minnesota they are upset; maybe some just don't think it is a belly laugh. OK. Some actually tell you, "You are forgetting the Vikings." It is nice that they are nice. Well, when some of them are nice, But that they assumed you were serious is kinda disturbing.
