Well, raccoons are omnivores, so there diet is made up of both plant and animal matter. Raccoons are actually fairly closely related to bears and their diets are similar.

Raccoons are opportunists, so they will basically eat anything that presents itself, including trash. In the wild, the love crayfish. Raccoons actually have extremely sensitive hands, there is some speculation that they are in fact so sensitive that they can "see" in a sense underwater by feeling around and creating a mental image.

Raccoons also eat berries and fruit, birds, eggs, corn (I have seen them stand up to full grown white tail deer and drive them off of my deer feeder which is filled with dried corn), and many types of seed, just to name a few.

You had good answers on what raccoons eat (they love crayfish) and in answer to what eats them, foxes, wolves, panthers, alligators, wolverines, and dogs. If it's wounded, dying, or real small, crows, vultures, eagles, and ravens. And in some places, people eat raccoon.

raccoons are omnivorous, eating berries, and other animals, mainly insects, but fish, worms, etc. remember, though, most carnivorous animals don't eat other carnivorous animals, but remember there is always bacteria, and fungus that prey on these animals, and insects.

Are you asking what animals eat racoons or what animals racoons eat?

They are omnivorous, and eat foods such as crayfish, insects, birds, eggs, fish, frogs, mice, sweet corn, grains, acorns, wild berries and fruits.

They also often get into people's garbage in the city, and eat that. Not their natural food, but it happens often.
