I think we use to plant corn about 1 foot apart, 3 seeds at a depth of about 2 inches. The rows about 30 inches apart.

Your a little bit late since you should plant corn when the oak buds are the size of squirrel ears.

As per this web site - this is what they have to say....

9 to 12 inches spacing and in rows 24 to 36 inches apart. three rows side by side (preferably four rows) to insure good pollination.

Most the corn I have planted said 2 seeds per hole and at least one foot apart with rows 3 foot apart. I staggered my planting by doing one row per week so I would have corn for a longer amount of time since you normally get 1 or 2 ears per plant.

be calm son you assert it is staggering corn no count number if that's staggering corn then it's going to be purely advantageous this corn would not make a great stalk they're somewhat small stalks they are going to advance to approximately 5 ft the stalk would be appropriate to the dimensions of a fifty cent piece irf you like to to help it over the subsequent couple of weeks pull the airborne dirt and dirt up around the roots at he backside of the plant and fertilize it with a stable fertilizer 8-8-8 could be sufficient purely be careful with it do no longer over do it .the pulling the airborne dirt and dirt up over the backside of the roots will help the corn advance status roots those roots come out purely above the floor they are going to help stablize the plant and make it drink extra water a stable venture this additionally will placed nurtrents in the soil upo to the place the plant can get to them better

At least three feet. Corn not only grows tall but brances out. I would give it more room than that for good air circulation and so you can move between the plants.
