Have you ever seen the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" starring Tim Curry and Susan Sarandon? What did you think of it?
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.
Narator:
It's just a jump to the left.
Everyone sings:
And then a step to the right.
Narator:
With your hands on your hips.
Everyone sings:
You bring your knees in tight.
But it's the pelvic thrust
That really drives you insane.
Let's do the time-warp again.
Let's do the time-warp again.

I have seen it and loved it. I used to go every Fri and Sat to local theaters to see it my Senior year of High School. (1993). I even participated in the live floor show! It was awesome. The best summer of my youth!
We could yell, scream and swear and my parents knew where I was and who I was with so it was ok to come home at 6am! LOL
Talk about a blast from the past!
Thanks!
Jahna

Talk about a blast from the past! Wow! I loved this show! They say it was a "cult classic" and I can see why. Our theater played this movie at midnight on Friday and Saturday. Many of us were regulars and dressed and acted the parts. I always played Janet Weiss (actress Susan Sarandon).
At one point, the theater manager decided not to let us bring the usual props (like toilet paper) because he didn't want the extra clean up. Well, we begged and begged to bring props again on the condition that we would stay and help clean up. To our surprise, almost everyone in the theater also stayed and helped clean up. After that, even more people got involved in acting out.

I love the Rocky Horror Picture Show. My boyfried got to see it in the theater and had the 'theatrical' performance. I have only seen it on TV and DVD, but I think it is great

...used to play regularly, in the greater San Diego area; now, it's virtually non-existant, unless you go up as far as, perhaps L.A.
In the midst my 267 viewings of the film, at theatres from coast to coast (I'm a retired Navy vet, who in 20 years, has caught the film in San Diego, L.A., Chicago, New York, Orlando and Dallas), I have had the distinct pleasure of performing Riff-Raff (at a time when I was relatively light-weight), as well as Eddie (during my time in the Navy, when I was much more stockier).
....senior year in high school, I was challenged to play Frankenfurter, on a bet with a prize of $500; I'm ashamed to say that I wussed out!!!
