i think that he can stay healthy for sure. he was on his way to havin his best season just last season b4 the injury. i heard that he is ahead of schedule. (philadelphiaeagles.com)

as for this offseason.. i think they did great.. better then other people giv them credit for. they got some good additions. tony hunt will giv westbrook a break between plays. spikes helps them with the defense problem they had b4.. although it wasnt much of a problem bcuz they did hav dawkins, trotter, nd sheppard.

they also picked up kevin curtis who will be catchin passes from D MAC now! and kearse is bac too. this season is gonna be great for the eagles. good additions on both sides of the ball

im thinkin SUPERBOWL.. a repeat against the patriots possibly? except this time eagles gonna smoke them!!

Yeah, after all he's the franchise QB. You stated, he took them to the NFC Championship 4 times, and the Superbowl once. He is 0-4 in the NFC Championship, and 0-1 in the Superbowl, but he's getting closer, and closer. I know the window for the Eagles is closing, but they should give him atleast 2 more seasons, and see what he can do with LeSean McCoy and DeSean Jackson. BQ: If McNabb leaves, I see him playing for the Bills or Raiders. Both teams desperately need a QB, and McNabb could be a fit. But realistically I see him retiring.

He probably can't. Considering the last few seasons. The only healthy season was the Super Bowl one. Plus there are weird rumors about trading him for Briggs since the eagles drafted a QB. I don't think they'll be swapped though. The new QB is probably a precaution. If he did go maybe he'll have better luck. So if we're lucky it'll be a good healthy season. Hopefully he can play like the first few weeks last season.

I think McNabb CAN stay healthy, but the O-line needs to do a better job of protecting him. The draft was certainly shocking to see Kevin Kolb drafted as their first choice in the second round. I would have kept the first round pick and gotten a top DB with the pick instead, and if Kolb was still there later, then picked him up.

He's been in the league 8 years and started all 16 games, not including play-offs, 3 years. His track record says no. As much as I like the guy, if he doesn't stay healthy this year, he will probably be traded. They drafted a QB this year, so it will be interesting to see how that works out.

I guess that’s up to God and that O line of theirs; and of course, his off season regimen. Hopefully, he keeps working out and doing what he can to stay in shape so that when he takes the hits that he undoubtedly will, he can avoid the injury(ies).
Their O line can use some help that they didn’t get yet.
They keep focusing on D.
All team owners; GM’s; head coaches and fans; let’s all concede that every individual unit of a team is integral to its success.
It’s not defense that wins games, as some are want to say; it is also every aspect of the offensive game as well.
Donovan has been around long enough to know and have what it takes to help his team go to and win a Super Bowl; do the rest of the team?
And what I consider to be one of the most important factors; DO THEY HAVE THE DESIRE?

I think they need some better WR's,If McNabb can stay healthy all year, they will win their division! If not Dallas will, and they'll be fighting off the Giants for 2nd place in the division!

no he seems to be at a point in his career where he going to steady suffer from nagging injuries he is a great player still though. But as long as he can be healthy for the playoffs the eagles always have a chance.

I would like to think so, but in all reality the man is just accident prone and getting old so all the previous injuries are sure to start nagging him half way through the season.

Gosh, I hope not.

The only chance the Eagles have of going all the way is with a new QB. DM will never win a Superbowl.
