Yes.

I was born and reared in Pennsylvania, in the States, where we learned about the heavy British taxation that started the Revolutionary War.

Pennsylvania was established as a 'commonwealth' which means that certain things like food, books, clothing and other necessities are not taxed at all.

Of course, sporting goods and luxuries like furs get taxed, but this is at least one place you can go and not get taxed on EVERYTHING.

There are a few US states that are horrible too, but the fact that gas is almost eight dollars a gallon in UK and most of that is tax.. its outrageous!

Oh and for those who still think we have free healthcare? Well technically it can be free, if you want to wait 3 or 4 years for treatment.
