I've been struggling with this question for a while now..
Being a die-hard Potter fan, would you give in to the temptation and jus read it (it might be the real book or a bogey version) and risk ruining your fun.. or wait it out(even tho you know you have a copy that might be the actual book) and read the book with the whole excitement, hype and hoopla as soon as it is released on July 21st?!

Without a doubt I would read it. If it is fake: congrats you now have another Harry Potter story (the 7th is supposed to be the last book). If it is real: don't you enjoy reading the stories again and again to see what you missed the first several times. Either way you can't go wrong by reading it.

If you don't read it, you wouldn't have the pleasure of knowing something most others on here don't know.

As a die hard Harry Potter fan, I can confidently answer "No" - My favorite part of being a Harry Potter fan is discussing the book with other people, and if I was the only one to read it, I wouldn't be able to discuss it with anyone without ruining the story for them.

Also, reading an eBook is different from reading a real book, and I would much prefer my first experience of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows to be with a real, physical book.

There is something exciting about knowing that, while you're reading the book at 4am the night it is released, there are thousands of other die-hard fans who are doing the same thing you are, and that in a couple short days (or hours, depending on the person) the Harry Potter saga will be finished for all die-hard fans, at the same time, together.

Definetly not. The magic of reading a book is something I would like to experience when reading HP 7 on July 21st. E-books are great when you don't have the opportunity to buy the real deal, or when the book (physical book) is not available or when you have a disability and have to buy an audio book or something like that but the images you form in your mind when reading an actual book.... it's priceless!! And with a normal book, your eye vision does not suffer that much; try reading more than 800 pages on a computer screen....even if you print it, it's not the same!!

I would wait. I wouldn't have DH as an ebook anyway, because it might not even be the actual book. I'd wait until it's released and then I would buy it and know that the copy I have is real.

No, I wouldn't because I have other books that I rather read first and am not a Harry Potter fan.
I like being able to hold a book in my hands.

Yes I'd read it! Cause I wouldnt be able to wait if it was sitting right under my nose. But I'd be shure it's the real one first. It might ruin my fun . . . but still.
