I am disgusted at the way Americans treat each other over this issue. It has gotten so dirty. I am disgusted that we have come to this and maybe a new government is what we need.

Just 6 years ago all I saw was "United We Stand" stickers, billboards and e-mails all over the place. Now we are at each other's throats over political parties. Will it take something as horrible as a 9/11 to get us all working together again? President Lincoln said "A house divided against itself cannot stand" and our "house" - America- is divided.

Clean out the closet. Let's start from scratch, together.

Forming a new govt??? No way, no how!

A change in our current govt? Absolutely. I support term limits for all political offices, both Federal and State. I support an America 1st and foremost attitude. I support abolishing all foreign aid until such a time that the US has fixed all of the major domestic issues and returning only to the countries that request help for legitimate reason. I support self reliance, i.e. a society in which we do not rely on any other country to provide us with anything. We have the technology lets use it. I mostly support getting our war debt repaid by all of the countries that owe us money.

N O, The United States Government is the best in the whole world and every 4 years, we get a new president and if everyone voted instead of whining
about every little thing, then the US political system might be lots better.

I think that politely but insistently and effectively pushing for really effective reforms that truly clean up our present government, which I think really could just use a good tune up, is a much more moderate response or goal that is achievable that most American's would get behind much more then trying to form a new government and must, of course, be done effectively without adversely effecting our liberty, equality, peace and pursuit of happiness and then the need for the particular reforms sought and the impact of not doing them has on those qualities in our lives now.

Yes, I'm sick of the Democrats runnig the house and senate and it's only been a few months. Amnesty for illegal alians? That's how we solve the problem. If your pipes leak in your house, first you turn off the water. Then you clean up the mess. BUILD A DAMN BIG WALL!!! Then, boot the scum out of america by the train loads! Stop offering free medical and schooling to them!!! Then VOTE for candidates that want a secure border. The millions that we save buy cutting off the welfare for illegals will help pay for domestic problems.

Everytime there is a new election a new government is formed.

I am disgusted with the way people hurl accusations and accuse the other party of being a problems.

No one seems to want to do what is best for America

I think our form of government is the best in the world. The problem starts when one party has control of 2 or more branches of government, and we lose our power of checks and balances, which is what has happened with President Bush and the prior Congress.

I'd support a new government but saying that most Americans are 'disgusted' with our government is just presumptuous.

I have no doubt that a majority of Americans are disgusted with ALL THREE branches. That doesn't mean that replacing all those in government would improve things.
