Keep reminding yourself that if you don't get a good education, you'll end up with a low-paying job that sucks even worse than school.

OK, Marquis, is this a trick question? What does "like" have to do with it? Schooling is very involved, mostly political. As with everything in life, your attitude is the key: believe me, I never liked school. BUT I figured if I have to be there, I wanted to do the best I could. After all, doing well in school was for MY future. The same with you. You don't have to like it: just figure out how schooling can help you. Are you the fastest runner? Do you score the most shots in basketball? Are you the fastest reader? Look around, find your niche in school. Some students are very popular; some are nerds, good in math, science or computer. Before I graduated from high school, I thought history was boring. When I was a freshman in college, we had this really thick history book, with very short summaries of different places/time periods. It was too much! But, I needed to write a paper, so I chose famous sites in Europe. The professor had visited ALL of the sites I chose for my paper and told me I should change my major to history, as I presented things so well. Moral: you never know what you can do until you try, REALLY try.
As to like, I'm certain you can find something you like (classes, that is) so try to be a stand out in ONE thing, the rest will come.
Good luck.

Keep in the back of your head that your education will get you somewhere someday. You don't want to wake up one day and not have taken advantage of getting an education.
I finished school early with 2-2 year degrees with the idea that I'd get married and my husband and I would run a business together and I could keep my job making $9.75/hr just so we could have health insurance w/o spending an arm and a leg for it. Now I have a better job working for city govt, married to someone else now and I can't wait until I can save enough money to go back to school. Even with 2 incomes it is expensive to make it. Find a subject or a field that you have a passion for. Keep you head up and know that you are doing this for your future. Good luck.

Pay attention or you might have to sign up for Summer school.

It's probably too late...ditch it and go to the beach. You can repeat next year.
