Definitely wheels. Your'e not sliding the crate along the surface of the ramp, and the friction of the wheels on the ramp actually helps the wheels turn.

Heat the ramp and you make it softer and more pliable - that means more friction.

Oil - Reduces friction, but you're still sliding the crate along the surface of the ramp.

Chalk Dust - Pool players use chalk dust to increase friction between the tip of the pool cue and the cue ball.

I'd do chalk dust.
Cuz, if ur pushing it you can't walk on oil, you'll fall.
you cant walk on a hot ramp, maybe your shoes would melt...
the wheels may work, but just seem to obvious.
so i'd say chalk dust, but wheels might be good too.
