I thought this was weird. It made me think of Biblical Noah who rescued 2 of each animal during the flood. Mr. Bennett sort of helped everyone out and brought a lot of them to the point they were at. He had contact with them at some point during the season.
Any thoughts on the significance???

He didn't say his name was Noah- he said, "Call me Noah."

so Mr.Bennett told one of the others to call him, Noah. that could be his real name or an alias? remember we all though Mr.Bennett was the main villain but it turned out he is a good guy. i love his character, i love the relationship he has with his daughter Clair(adopted). u know its a good show cuz in a way it gives u a message that u can love someone so much and there not even ur real child. kudos to heroes for that great message of love!

BTW, i cried a little when Clair and Mr. Bennett where together side by side. i never cry for season finales but gosh that was so sweet.

The second answerer has a good point. He didn't say his name was Noah.

And, the whole name thing was like that because we never knew his name... only "horn rimmed glasses" for a while, then "Mr Bennett" when we found out his last name. So it was cool and everything when he finally said "Call me Noah" (I screamed and hi fived my fiance LOL).

I think the writers throw a lot of seemingly meaningless clues in just to see what we'll catch. That's a good one, especially in light of the episode where Hiro went into the future and Bennett was the one helping the Heroes get to safety.

I thought of Biblical Noah, as well, They were trying to save the world. I am definately interested to see where chapter 2 takes us.
