There is no magic bullet. I recommend the Chess Tutor by Ault.

It is notationless and goes over the elements of combinations.

pawn push king press horse fork forks, sacrifice etc.
better if you have experience as you learn from whatother people do to you. go to wikipedia.com and look at chess and there should be a link of all strategies and moves.
