My pick goes to MJ all day!
Why? Because MJ's dominance reigned for along peroid of time. Check this out:
10 scoring titles (a record of 7 in a row)
3 steal titles
Highest career point average
Highest career playoff point average
Most total points in play-offs history
Highest scoring play-off game in history
In one game recorded 69 points, 18 rebounds, 6 assit, & 4 steals
The most consecutive games scoring in double figures
The highest point average in a NBA Finals series
Has the Chicago Bulls franchise record for the most total career assist
Anyways, I didn't want to mention championships, mvps, awards, or etc. All of the things I mention took great physical stats to do it. What kind of physical proof that Shaq recorded that made him more dominate then MJ. NONE!
MJ is the GREATEST EVER!!!!!

Jordan carried the league by himself when Magic and Bird retired. Mj never had a rival, someone to challenge him on a regular basis, or occasionally for that matter. His rival was TEAMS like Detroit and New York, but no one man or coach challenged him without looking stupid first. MJ always lived up to the hype. Let's see someone lead his team to an impressive NBA record 72 wins (out of 82) in the regular season AND STILL WIN THE TITLE. He was just as dedicated as Shaq was and he never came to training camp overweight. Shaq should not even be in the NBA's top 50. He should be in the next top 50. MJ is the standard and every time someone is dubbed the NEXT MJ they can't handle it. Kobe is close but...NAAHHHHHHH.

Shaq was never the best player on his championship teams. He had Kobe in La La land and D-Wade in Miami. Sure MJ had Pippen, but we all saw how great Pippen really was after Jordan retired. MJ is going down as a top 2-3 player of all time. Shaq wont crack the top 10.

Nope, The most dominate would be Shaq, think about it. If you were gonna play a pick up game of ball and had a choose to play against MJ, Kobe or Shaq and didn't know anything about them. I would be most intimidated but Shaq.

i pick MJ but Shaq is a great player too one of the greatest centers to ever play the game. i think MJ would have done alot more if he didnt retire so often, bulls would have probably won more titles and then for the next century or millennium MJ would still be the greatest player of all times.

MJ, probably, although 'most dominant' doesn't always denote 'best ever'. There were times in Shaq's prime when he was a force of nature. Nobody could touch him lest they find themselves bleeding on the floor. I give the nod to MJ because his dominance lasted longer. Shaq's been swept out of the playoffs six times.

If MJ is the greatest, then why did you ask the question? But yeah, he's better than Shaq.

it is obviously MJ. he could play all over the court. Shaq's game is primarily within 15 of the basket.

Jordan, definitely. The only player that was more dominant than Jordan was Wilt Chamberlain, no one else has really come close.
