We will eventually find several planets where life has evolved.

Intelligent life is another matter. Intelligent and technological and close enough to communicate with?

much less likely, but barely possible.

I consider myself something of an optimist regarding SETI and I doubt there are more than 1-20 other civilizations out there. But life bearing planets are probably numbering in the thousands.

I thinks so! Mars looks like it had water and I think there are microsopic things living on a far distance planets that is like 487 light years away so we will never see them.

We are so far apart that it would be a miracle just to communicate. What we see out there is not like what we are seeing. We would need very narrow radio beams that it would be difficult to hit what we think the target is,and it might not be there at all.
