My A/C - Heat won't blow when I turn it on. I can feel the air lingering in the vents but nothing comes out. Any ideas what this maybe?

I have checked all obvious fuses and all are good. I heard there was an inline fuse though ????

there is an underhood fuse box for that car that has the air conditioning fuse in it. the box has a black lid and the top is about 3" x 6". It is usually on the passenger side rear of the engine compartment back near the windshield but it could be on the driver's side inner fender.

the air conditoning fuse is a 40 amp fuse #12. it is usually near the right center of the fuse box. The fuse is green in color and about .25" square on top. there is usually a second 40 amp fuse next to it. for testing, you can swap the two 40 amp fuses and see if the motor works.

it was not uncommon for that fuse to blow on the 2001 civic but I can't remember exactly why to tell you what to do if it blows again.

hope that helps

In any electrical related problem, ALWAYS check the fuse first. Again that's for ANY electrical related problem. They are designed to go FIRST and designed for easy replacement.

Checking for blown motor FIRST is like taking off the tires everytime you're low on air. No good professional would skip checking the fuse first.

check your fuses, if they are all good odds are your blower motor went out. no worries, cheap fix, $30 if you do it yourself under $100 at a local shop.
