what product should I use to refurbish them?
Also, I have some fairly new leather jackets that I haven't worn in a few years. What product should I use on them?

Having worn leather boots in the military for over 21 years (and yes I did take them off once or twice to wash my feet and change my socks :-P)

You need to clean and wax leather at least once a week, if the leather gets wet, do not dry next to a strong heat but place a little distance away from the hear source, put nespaper into the shoes to help dry them out.

At least once a month remove the shoe laces and wax inside the lace flaps and around the shoe tounge.

To get a very good shine after applying the particular colour shoe wax you need, brush hard with a seperate brush, than the one you used to apply the shoe wax, leave for 15 minutes than polish with a pair of ladies tights (get mum or your girlfriend to donate an old pair) it really brings out the shine.

Take the old leather shoes to a shoe repair shop and they can do wonders with them. They'll come out looking almost as good as new. Also, go to a leather shop, like Wilson's leather and they have some great products to care for your leather goods.

Really the best thing to use is sold at sporting good stores. Use a baseball glove conditioner on those leathers and you'll love the results. Baseball glove conditioner will soften and clean very well and is quite affordable compared to other leather conditioners you will find at leather clothing stores.
