You keep your pants and mouth zipped.
Just having it doesn't mean you have to give in to it.

It is just like every other yr that you have gone past it will get better. Try doing stuff you did with your wife in the beginning just starting over and going back to some of the stuff you guy's enjoyed doing when you were dating can spice your life up. I have been married almost 8yrs so I can can agree that this yr has been a doosy for me as well but I can just look at my wife and realize that there is no one else I would rather be with.
Remember your vows communicate with your wife when she wants too and just be understanding her needs and desires.
Have you stopped to consider she may have put her goals and life on hold when she married you and she would like to complete some of those goals now before she gets much older?. I think you need to ask her what she wants out of life and try to help her achieve it. Marriage is compromise as well as commitment if there is something she has been wanting to do for a long time like having her own career help her make it a reality.
It is amazing how things can change when you help your spouse achieve something in her own life. If she has stood by you all these years it is time for you to step up to the plate.
She will most likely be interested in returning to a sexual intimacy with you once she is doing something she wants in life. Remember your spouse deserves to be happy as well as you and if you have kids she wants a break from the daily grind of being a house wife.
God Bless and Best Wishes
P.S. If this is you I hope I have helped. STAY FAITHFUL!!!!!!!!!!

the best way to get over the itch is to go out on dates with your wife. act like you just met and really get to know each other all over again. actually ask her out on a date. open the door for her, pull out her chair, chivalry is not dead!!! change your relationship up a bit. do things that are out of character for you. you will be surprised by her reaction. she will see that you are making a sincere effort and you will probably get the same treatment. remember the "golden rule" too. good luck!

There's no such thing as a 7 year itch. If you believe in it, then you will do it. If you really love your wife, then you won't be doing anything behind her back to hurt her. 7 year itch is stupid & it's for the people who hate being married. If your one of those, then so god help you if your wife catches you & divorces the crap out of you.

Just know that it will pass. Think about the "early days" with your wife and figure out how you can rekindle that flame with her. Leave her little romantic notes to let her know you are thinking of her. Surprise her with a single rose sometime for no reason. You can do this! Marriage is about COMMITMENT!
Good luck! :)

Tell your wife that you have the itch and ask her if she'll go off and have an illicit affair with you in some exotic place.

Rediscover your wife and find the joy in her. Control yourself in the meantime and just rebuild what you have. Also, find constructive ways to live out your dreams and fantasies, without destroying your life, your marriage or your wife's life.
