You do not get to collect disability during maternity leave.
You can fill out the forms for the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and it entitles you to 12 weeks off work. Your employer may demand the you use your vacation, sick and personal days prior to using the FMLA. FMLA guarantees you a position within the company when you return after your max. 12 weeks gone. After 12 weeks, your employer does not have to hold your job.
Very few companies pay for maternity leave and again, there is no government subsidy to pay while your are pregnant either.

I live in OH and am due to have a baby in July. I have Aflac through my employer. Other than that you may be able to apply for some type of public assistance but by the time you see anything you will probably be back to work. mY advice would be save as much money as possible untill you are due. apply for WIC (for some food and formula) Decide now if there are any bills you can live without. LIke cable or phone to save money The US is far behind other countries when it comes to Maternity leave they are required to give you up to 12 weeks off. But you are not entitled to any compensation. Just the time off. By the way you have to pay into Alflac for 10 months before you give birth to get any benefits. So if you are already pregnant you may be out of luck. You can contact St Vincent Depual in your area and they will pay your rent or Mortgage for 1 month and you can call your local free store or food bank to get groceries. Call Churches in your area for assistance. There are a ton of options if you just don't make enough money t save any.

I'm in GA. I was paid but only through the short term/long term disability insurance I have through my company, which I've been paying for for the last 15 years. (I got like 60% of my pay, no taxes, starting the 7th day of my leave) There isn't any other type of maternity leave supplement that I know of. Unless you work for a really great company who pays you out of their own pocket. Ha!!!! highly unlikely in a "right to work" state.
But you can always go to your employer and ask if you have coverage.

I dont thing pregnant women can get disability.. Unless its really a disability like berest mayb.. I could be wrong... If your married or not married and your husband/boyfriend doesnt really have enough to support you, you should be able to get food stamps possibly.....Just go to your local DFCS and they can tell your or go to the DFCS website.. you should just be able to go to yahoo and type (your state) DFCS
