I took a few years off and have a year and a half left to get my Bachelors. Then I want to go for my Masters. Am I too old to be with those college kids?

They might annoy you, but its never too late. A lady who was in her 90's graduated from college a couple of weeks ago and it was in the news! You probably won't look any older than a lot of the kids there, and there are probably more people your age than you think because a lot of people take a couple of years off before going to college.

Going Back To College At 25

Absolutely not!! 25 can sometimes still pass for 21 or younger! I've worked with students that started a bachelor's degree at 60! You will fit right in - especially in graduate school. You *might* want to check out the schools first though. Sometimes those 18-20 y/o crowd can get pretty biggoted, but unless you look like a *really* old 25 y/o, they might not even notice... except that you might notice how immature they can be...

25 is not old at all. I guess you didn't see the article of the woman who was like 92 or so and went back to school for her Bachelor's. There is never any limit to age on getting an education. I have been in classes with people from 18 to 62.

No, your never too old for college! I am 25 and still working towards my associates. I changed my major a few times but you are never too old. The good thing now is that you have learned and will do your best to get it done.

I have a classmate in my third year medical school class who is 31 years old!!! Should have graduated 5 years ago.

Myself, I delayed joining the university by two years. Actually, I did another degree course but felt dissatisfied about it. So, I joined medical school two and a half years ago. Now I am a 25 years old guy in a class of mostly 22 years olds. Well, girls are fascinated about me!!! I have had to turn down many advances.

My story aside, go for it girl, you still are young enough, and when you do get yourself back there, feel no inhibition in mixing and mingling with all. You never know who you may chance to make your friend. Actually, you will never note the difference. I look much younger than most of the boys in my class!!!

Not at all -- I'm 36 and started going back to college about a year ago! There are instances where I come across as the "far-out old man" of the class; but you'll probably find you're more attentive, more relaxed, and more confident than the young kids fresh out of high school; and that they'll often look to you for guidance and advice....

No you are definately not to old to go back to college. The more you educate yourself, the better in the long run. If you really feel uncomfortable, maybe do some night courses at a local college or enroll yourself in an all adult school. Hope I could be of help!

Absolutely not!! An 83 year old woman just graduated from college not to long ago.
You will find that their are a lot of people you age that are still in school. Don't let the though of being with college kids hold you back from getting your education.
Good Luck!!!

Of course not!! One is never to old to get a better education. Besides at the age of 25 even if you have to go to school for 8 years to get a degree in something, that still leaves you plenty of time to take what you've learned and earn a career from it.
