I have these small pin head redish bugs in my peat moss on the trees, I have dogs and they bring in the seeds from the peat moss, and now I have peat moss bugs in my house, what do I do?

This is definitely not meant as a sarcastic answer, but if you can't solve the bugs and the fleas or whatever people are experiencing in your area, then ask your county's horticulturist or move because sometimes that's just how a specific area is and you can't get away from it. I don't know that "peat" moss is on the trees, here we have "spanish moss" on the trees. Do you think something like "frontline" or "advantage" even Avon's "skin so soft" would stop the dogs from harboring the bugs on their fur? And then an occasional fogging of your home would kill the bugs indoors? I hesitated to respond since the world seems to want to go organic anymore and do without bug sprays but I don't know any good alternatives except what I mentioned.
