I saw my son on ultrasound for the first time yesterday, I am 19 weeks, however, I have yet to actually feel him. I am not overweight and the baby seems fine, when should I feel something??

I didn't feel my first until around week 21 or 22, and he was fine as well, I am also not over weight. It seems like the first one takes a little longer. It is normal don't worry it will happen soon enough and it is a great joy when you first realize what it is.

Is this your first? You probably have, just don't know it. If I remember correctly I didn't feel a first kick until about week 18 or 19 and it was the only one till my 20 week ultrasound and I actually saw her kick and felt it at the same time. But alot of times it feels like a gas bubble moving through your intestines. Only when you get a really good kick or punch do you sometimes feel it. My girl was pretty gentle in the womb and still is.

I am 21 weeks and I just felt my baby move for the first time almost a week and a half ago. It's kind of hard at first to know what it is. I find I feel mine move most when I am sitting.

I'm 24 weeks and just started feeling mine about 2 weeks ago. It's a funny feeling at first, almost like gas or a flutter. Now it's more pronounced at times where I can actually see my skin move where he kicks. I'm still not sure if it's a foot or hand. It's a cool feeling.

Most women will feel their baby move somewhere between weeks 14-26. Usually it's on the later side for first time mom's. It's still early. Try not to worry. If you are concerned you can discuss it with your OB at your next appointment or give him/her a call.

You could feel him anyday now, and you may think it's just gas or something else going on! Don't worry, it'll happen, and then you'll feel more and more (until he's waking you up at 4 AM with kicks to the ribs).
First time Moms usually feel them around 20 weeks, so you're not behind.

maybe you do feel him and you don't know. ^_^ i didn't Really feel my baby until maybe week 21 but everyone is different. i completely missed the "quickending." i never felt a flutter. the first movement i felt was an outright kick.

your baby may not like to move too much too. at first my baby only moved at night when i lay down, now he's moving every few hours or so although randomly >_< later in your pregnancy you'll probably want him to stop moving so much =P my ribs are killing me. lol =)

He could just be a very calm child. My first did somersaults inside me and I always knew he was there. When he was born he just never stopped and you know what? He's 26 now and nothings changed! My second son I hardly knew was there and he was such a good baby, I used to say he was God's apology for the eldest! Both beautiful, special little people, both so different. This is going to be wonderful, enjoy!

I didn't feel my daughter move until about 20 weeks, and I think I may have felt her earlier but I didn't how it was going to feel and sometimes when u have gas stuck in your stomach it resembles the baby moving. One day it will start and then it never stops until u deliver. So enjoy not having him kick the hell out of u yet:)

The muscles in your uterus are very strong. Early kicks feel like light butterflies then they get stronger as the weeks go buy. In about a month the kicks should start to feel a little more like actual kicks.
