depends on what they are doing.. but whatever they are doing.. they are doing it for fun and to get a reaction/attention.. so you either have to take the fun out of it, or find a way to give them positive attention ... or both.

I bet the old lady down the street who gives out cookies never gets her porch egged... because the kids get positive attention from her.

I also bet the guy with the pit bull doesn't get egged.. because there's no fun in getting eaten by a dog.
