Yes, it happens all the time :

For a sufficiently small value of 1 we can have,

1 + 1 + 1 = 1

Think of it as a 3D representation of boundaries drawn.
Go North 1, go East 1, go straight up 1 = a cube with the dimensions of 1 cubed. You have travelled 3 (1+1+1) and you have partitioned off a 1 cubed cube.

All math works because we all decided to agree that 1 is one and 1+1=2 and so forth. If you don't believe that 1+1=2, then it cant be. If you're of the transcendental persuasion, then 1 is all there is and everything is that 1.

Well man its possible only using the logical circuit OR gate (Digital Electronics) having at least three inputs. It uses the analogy 1=high & 0=Low. According to Digital electronics output of OR gate cannot be zero(Low) unless all the inputs are not zero(Low)
ie only 0+0+0=0 rest allcombinations gives 1
ie even 0+0+1=1

This is what is known to be the logical answer :-)

1+1+1 cant in that state equal one. One of the ones in the problem would have to be negative and the other two be positive. i know I'm restating what everybody else said but oh well.

You have 3 groups of something, ex. people, you add them together, and now you only have one group of people. Therefore, 1+1+1 can equal 1.

Mathematically, this can be done using complex numbers.

Where, the |1| = 1, and |1i| = 1, and | -1i| = 1, then...

1+ 1i + (-1i) = 1

alternatively stated (in absolute terms) as...

1 + 1 + 1 = 1.

-2 = -1 = 0 = 1 = 2

Or, which is the same:

0 = 1 = 2

Or, which is the same:

0 = 1 = 10

Good luck with that!0!
