Sequels can be ok, it's the terrible remakes that **** me off.

It depends on what the original movie is. I don't like it when you like this movie a lot, and they kill off everyone at the end preventing a sequel, like The Departed. Well, that's a bad example, since I don't see how a sequel would be good. But X-men, Spiderman, Matrix, etc. were made to have sequels. I guess that's what I'm ultimately getting at. Movies made to have sequels are well received.

very few movies have good sequels i like the originals but sometimes the second or even the 3rd can be good, only some movies though

I like sequels especially the Harry Potter ones, with sequels you want to know what's happening next. I like them =)

The only thing worse than a sequel is a remake of a TV show.

They don't put forethought into sequels - if they intend to do a sequel they shouldn't put all the good stuff in the first one and make sequels so dull.

Sequels are fine. I hate old tv shows being turned into movies. They all suck.
