If I get a prepaid phone card for virgin mobile and it says that I need $60 to get unlimited nights and weekends, is it possible for me to buy like 2 $30 cards or do they sell $60 dollar ones?

Do Virgin mobile phones use SIM Cards?

I think you have to call virgin to set up a new plan such as signing up for unlimited nights and weekends. I have not seen $60 cards. But you can go to a Hess gas station and puchase minutes. You don't get a card, you get a receipt with a number on it that you use to top up. I had a vergin but my daughter dropped the phone and the battery fell out and into a sewer. The battery costs as much as a new phone.

Check again..It depends on what PLAN you have with Virgin Mobile.. If you just have a 'Minute to Minute' plan, you do NOT get the free weekends and nights. (No SIM cards.) If you have the $59.99 a month plan, you get 600 minutes, plus unlimited nights, (after 7PM) and weekends. There is also a $99 a month plan with nights and weekends, and 1000 minutes.

You can purchase VM topup cards in any amount and have them credited to your account to equal the amount of the plan you want to use
Virgin Mobile USA is CDMA technology, CDMA does not use sim cards
Virgin Mobile UK is GSM and uses sim cards
