Recently I started reading "My Secret Garden" and just want to know what people think of her point of view.

If you don't know who she is there a brief article about her on wikipedia.

Is that really the best text from which to study her point of view? She simply asked women to send in their fantasies. That would be like saying that the person who created post secret had a point of view based on the postcards received and posted on the internet. Unless you are able to actually read each and every fantasy that was not included you would not know what her point of view was in determining how she would organize the book.

To know her point of view, read My Mother, My Self . . . I haven't read it since I was 12 or so but that book seemed far more personal than any of her others. Albeit, I haven't read all of her books but definitely moresoe than My Secret Garden or Men in Love or Women on Top.
