At first it was what I really wanted to do. Through University I had a real drive and desire and then when I started working it continued for about 4 years. Now, 8yrs later I am so ready for a change. I still enjoy my job but the passion, enthusiasm and challenge are no longer there, so it feels like I am settling. I have been trying to get the courage to move on to another job or do something on my own...hopefully soon before I go mad. Good luck with your decision and never settle not when it comes to a career or relationship you are just setting yourself up for misery in the long run.

It started out just great, but then after the divorce I had to change track, I've not settled at all, I'm just not finished working my way out of the hole.

I'm doing what I need to do to support myself and my kids without having to borrow form family. Doing what I WANT to do is very hard because I haven't quite figured that out yet..

What I have been doing for the past almost 12 years, I would not in my wildest dreams ever have pictured me doing.

I love my job. I feel lucky to have it. I always wanted to be able to help people, and I do.
I definitely did not settle.
