I'm on pregnancy number 4 and I am having braxton hicks I think but it only occurs when I walk around my uterus tightens real hard, but it is not painful it seem to last for long periods at a time. I do not remember this happening with any other pregnancy. Has anyone else experienced this?

Each pregnacy is different, and if you are having contractions when you're walking you need to be checked by your doctor. I'm a L&D Nurse. You need to be seen to make sure nothing is going on. The more times you are pregnant the more stress you put on your uterus. A viable fetus is 37 weeks and it is way to soon for you to be having contractions.

I am pregnant with number 3 and I have b/h all the time in fact mine start out right from the beginning, they are very normal and if you notice them more when you are walking or busy, try to take it easy for a minute or so and see if that helps. I am 34 weeks and have b/h all day long, they stop for a while when I lay down or take a warm bath.

I have been having that problem for almost two months now (I'm at 34 weeks with number 3). It is cramping, it can make it difficult to walk but not always painful. Drink lost of water and try to rest when it happens (that can make the cramping go away). Good luck

I usually get braxton hicks contractions when Im sitting or laying down. SOmetimes it would last about 35-40 seconds. Never felt it when I walk but im sure it's normal. If you're concern, please talk to your doctor maybe he will some advice for you.

I had that for most of my pregnancy. It is normal, but be sure to mention it to your dr, just to cover all bases.
