Murtha is a Pennsylvania thug. Pennsylvania is still a heavy union state and union thugs abound in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and old steel (or coal) mill towns like Johnstown.
Murtha is typical of the politician who has been in politics too long. It's no longer about him serving Pennsylvania but about Pennsylvania serving him.
