carter was quoted in saying, "i think as far as the adverse impact on the nation around the world, this administration has been the worst in history" ..... lol, and after his comment, he said later that , "my remarks were maybe careless or misinterpreted" ... gezzz, another flip-flopping remark from a lib... why can't they just stick to what they say and be done with it? i personally think Carter has been waaaay more destructive in his bad-mouthing he does to other countries about policies of his OWN nation and leaders from his OWN nation. he's worse than Hanoi Jane , the Dixie Chicks, or Kerry combined.
and what has Bush done to deserve this type of criticism?? liberated an entire nation... made terrorists fight in their own backyard... made it safer for us here in the states... took out an oppressive/murderous tyrant.. kept WMD's from possibly getting into terrorists' hands.. i could go on and on..

KATYDID- we continue to be there because we don't want to be a heartless liberater.. you cannot expect to take out a nation's leader (as horrible as saddam was), destroy their infrastructure, and install a new way of life... and do it in 5-6 years. it cannot be done. it couldn't be done even if we weren't fighting anyone. allies were in Germany and Japan for DECADES for the same reasons we're in Iraq. and YES saddam had WMD's. WMDs are other things besides nukes. he used them on his own people for God's sake. remember the Kurds?? that wasn't pepper spray saddam used.

how easy people forget... it's amazing.. and how easy people tend to neglect facts from the WHOLE spectrum.. too many like to pay attention the recent events and think they know what they're talking about. you did enough research, you pay attention enough, you open your mind enough.. you'll come to the same conclusions that i and so many others have.

The current situation in Iran is a direct result of Jimmy Earl and his inept foreign policies. He's the one who jerked support out from under the Shah and allowed the Ayatollas to take over saying that religious people would do a better job. I have very vivid memories of living during the Carter Administration when you had odd and evn days to buy gas, 20% interest rates on mortgages, prisoners held hostage in Iran and that drunken, degenerate brother of his selling beer on TV. The guy was a national disgrace.

Carter palms down. He did no longer take care of the oil disaster, he led to it. under Bush no person is in a line to get gas. EDIT: on your stick to up. somewhat you aspects me a hyperlink to a information tale protecting how backed up the gas strains are on your city. during Carter's administration, the financial equipment suffered double-digit inflation, coupled with very intense quotes of interest, oil shortages, intense unemployment and sluggish financial growth. Intrest quotes immediately shop being decreased, and un-employment is at an all time low. Your turn. permit me comprehend while to end:In 1973, jointly as Governor of Georgia, Carter filed a document on his 1969 flying saucers sighting with the international flying saucers Bureau in Oklahoma city, Oklahoma. i do no longer think of Bush has ever filed a sightings document, i could desire to be incorrect as a results of fact i'm in uncomplicated terms a Republican.

Carter told the truth and people whined and carried on so much about it he had to make a statement to soothe things with the other side. I don't see it as a flip flop at all. Unfortunately conservatives see the world in black and white. Once someone says or does something that is it for ever. If so, than your boy Bush is in big trouble and so is his pal Newton Leroy Gingrich.
Bush deserves the criticizm it is the truth. He is by far the worst president the US has ever had. He is a liar, corrupt, arrogant, incompetent, and greedy.
I feel sorry for you and your kind who have not seen what the REST OF THE WORLD and AMERICA have seen. Some day you will wake up and realize your support for Bush makes you look, well , rather uninformed and brainwashed.

Carter was a key player in allowing extremists to think America was a paper Tiger. Liberals are carrying the torch for Jimmy. The Bush haters would sell their souls to see him Impeached simply because he won a couple of elections.

My relative who just got back from Afghanistan thinks that if Americans has pulled together to fight the common enemy instead of politicizing and criticizing everything Bush did that the conflicts would have been over long ago, so Carter's criticism is probably worse. I trust those who have been there not some media person who sits behind a desk and ctiticizes just for the sake of criticizing.

Well feel free to go on and one, but you're not going to convince me that Carter did more harm than bush. Carter spoke out against a man who has created a war that is not winnable. Bush continues to send troops to fight (and die) for a civil war we have no right to participate in. Yes, he took out Saddam, but why are we still there? And your claim about WMD's has not been validated. I could go on and on...

Well Carter's term is over and the damage repaired. I suspect that the same will be said in a few years about Bush. I'd say that they both have/had their problems.
