my mom has been doing the mowing and house work labor for as long as i can remember as my dad lays on the couch all day. Literally.

I don't mow because of my allergies, but back when I was stupid and didn't care, I'd push the mower to work on my arms. Seriously.

I don't know about their situation, but maybe she likes the exercise that comes with pushing the yard. I know I do. Mt husband sits on his butt with a beer and watches me. Maybe it is a turn-on to your neighbor.
