That would really hurt my feelings. I don't expect much on my birthday, so just remembering works for me.......

Haha, I think I would have a mixture of both.
I would be angry just for the fact that he forgot. I mean your own husband shouldn't forget his wife's birthday.
I would be upset for the same reason. I would make me feel like I was unimportant to him. I would make me feel like he didn't care.
Although, a birthday isn't as big as an aniversery.
Now if a husband forgets an aniversery, well then..
That's another story, haha.

I would be more upset and sad. Anger would be a good emotion if he did something nasty on purpose. If he simply "forgot", I would be upset that it doesnt mean enough to him. Playing devils' advocate, maybe he doesn't know the date today and is thinking that your birthday is tomorrow, etc
I tend to confuse the date and have to check the calendar daily. Forgetting a spouses birthday is pretty hard to do though...unless he is preoccupied or upset about something else going on is your life together or his work lif eand such. Im sorry:-( Happy Birthday!!

I wouldn't be angry at all - but I don't even know if I'd be upset either. I think I would make sure he knew that he would have to make it up to me with a night out and some new shoes

Angry because I start a Birthday Countdown a month before my birthday and post a "Wish List" of restaurants I'd like to go to and other things I'd like him to do for my birthday. (He just has to choose one, and this way he knows it would be something I enjoy)
If he did forget I would go out and celebrate without him and buy myself something really wonderful.

he did all the time. Another reason why he is no longer my husband. It's rude. Is it your birthday?
