Honestly, everything I've read says that there is no study that has been done to prove if there are any good or bad outcomes from using teeth whitener during pregnancy. I'm pregnant too, and everything I read gives me a different story most of the time. Anyways, its always best to "not take chances" so if you aren't going to use products, in all honesty baking soda is a really good idea. Many toothwhitening toothpastes have baking soda. Don't swallow it. I would just brush my teeth, floss, use mouth wash, and then dip my toothbrush in some baking soda and brush like normal. I am sure this is the safest way, and baking soda is indeed a home remedy that works.

You should wait for that, it is not more important than the health of your baby and the teeth whitening will still be available afterwards.

From what I know it's recommended to go get your teeth cleaned during pregnancy. But not to whiten your teeth.Just go get your teeth cleaned and its good for the baby's health. They say if your forming bacteria in your mouth that could get to the baby.So by cleaning them that prevents this from happening.

do you know if hydrogen peroxide is ok? i swish hp around in my mouth while i am in the shower and i think it works better than the tooth whitener stuff and its safe to do on a daily basis. most people forget the instructions on their tooth whitener limits the use of it.
