A customer wandered into our used bookstore, spent an hour browsing and then approached the counter and asked, "Do you sell books?" I glanced up from unpacking new arrivals and said, "No, but there's a good one across the street." (A store that specialized in New Age books and supplies.) She said thank you and went back to browsing.

I had a great one the other day!

I went to the store to get my boyfriend some cigarettes and the guy behind the counter asked for my ID. Admitedly, my picture on my ID and the way I look now are quite different as my hair was long, blonde, and had a perm at the time my picture was taken and it's now short and my natural dark brown color. Not to mention the picture was taken right after I turned 18 and I'm now 21. The guy said "wow... this is you?". I couldn't help it. I said "nope, it's my brother. Heeeeere's your sign!" He got a kick out of it.

Also, there was a time a couple years ago when me and a friend of mine had just got done hunting. I'd killed my first 7-pt. buck and he said we needed to go to the store to get a disposable camera so we could take pictures. Naturally, we were dressed in full camo. When we got to the store, the lady at the counter actually asked if we'd been hunting! Me and my friend looked at each other, smiled, and at the exact same time said "nope, just got back from a tree huggin' party! Heeeere's your sign!". It was priceless!
