So what materials should I use to construct this. The best half reactions I can find are reduction of F2 and oxidation of Li. But at standard conditions that only gives me 5.92 Volts.
What might catalyze the reaction more? I might heat it, would that help. Or construct multiple batteries and pass them through the pickle at once.
Any ideas? Better half reactions?

take 2 aluminum nails and a electrical cord off a old appliance & a pickle(of course)make you a stand that will hold the pickle up,using electrical tape attach the stripped end of electrical cord to the 2 nails,then stick the nails in each end of the pickle,plug the cord in the wall(110 is fine)presto theres ur pickle light!

Use tha standard Pb-H2SO4 battery.
