whats the best disc cutter to buy for roofing ??

I have never seen roofing material cut with a disk. Problem would be that the material in the shingles would soon clog the disk. I have always used, and seen used, a hook blade knife. Try the Home Improvement stores or a hardware.

A disc cutter is not the right tool to use on roofing. You will want to get a utility knife with a roofing hook blade
