when my sister and I were young
my mom and dad used to take us for
long drives in the country ,but every Sunday
they would bring us to Crofton B.C. Canada
this is a small little place...so cute
they would bring us down to the fisherman's wharf
and buy us as much prawns as we could eat...
it was awesome..my father was a fisher man and we were
raised on his fishing boat in the summer time
so this was a great memory because we never
got to spend much family time together before they passed on.

My nana! I used to love visiting her as a kid! She was so kind and generous and you could tell her anything and she would never judge you. Once a week, we would go around to visit her, play games with her and she would give us pocket money and a chocolate bar every week. We have my nanas old playing cards still at my parents house and every second week, my sister, mum and I play cards with my nanas cards and they remind us of her and even has a distinctive smell about the cards. One of the cards is torn a bit, but we will never get rid of them. I even have a photo of my nana sitting right here beside me on my computer desk!
