It constantly gets replenished by plant life contrary to what all the nay sayers contend.

Despite what several very ignorant folks here have said, Global Climate Change is a fact, it is caused by humans and it is likely to have some serious impact on human society over the next few years. The results of several thousands of scientific studies in this area have been summarized in the IPCC report and are described accurately in Al Gore's movie "Inconvenient Truth." I have recently been on three college campuses where the science faculty have reviewed the film and voted unanimously to add it to the curriculum.
Nonetheless, we are not going to run out of oxygen.
First, there is a huge reserve of oxygen in the atmosphere. Remember that 21% of the entire atmosphere is oxygen. Even if no oyxgen were added, that would be enough to sustain human life for many thousands or even millions of years.
Second, the oyxgen in the air is continuously replenished as plants produce glucose from water and carbon dioxide in the process of photosynthesis. A large part of the photosynthesis is carried out in ocean algae, so removing the forests would not eliminate it.
To get an accurate and politically unbiased view of Global Climate Change, check the IPCC report on line. Even President Bush has signed on to this.

Half of our oxygen comes from plankton in the sea. So long as the ocean waters remain cool, the ocean currents can distribute the oxygen throughout the world. Land plants do produce oxygen but not as efficiently or in quite as much quantity. Unfortunately, the ocean waters have been warming up and warm waters carry less oxygen.

First of all, global warming is true, has been all through out recorded history. Someone needs to do a little research. Global warming isn't only caused by humans, infact it is likely caused very little by humans.
As for oxygen, the 80% of oxygen created by alge s pretty much the right answer I believe. Hard to run out of oxygen since every plant on our planet creates it. Even with deforestation there is still A LOT of plants. =)

global warming is a direct effect of the rain forests and great barrier reef. The green house gases that warm the atmosphere are largely caused by nature. Global warming is a cause of nature more than man. The best solution is a destruction of the great barrier reef and a large reduction in population to make up for the loss of oxygen production by the great barrier reef. Man really has a small impact on global warming.

Global warming is a myth. Plants and algae produce more than enough oxygen to sustain all life on Earth.

About three quarters of oxygen is being produced by algae and green microorganisms in the oceans, and one quarter from terrestrial plants. Oxygen is the second most common component of the earth's atmosphere (about 21% by volume).

Not only is the earth replenishing itself all of the time, a lot of the worlds oxygen supply does not come from trees. A lot comes from the algae in the oceans.

May be your thought will just come true after some billions of billion year later with this rate of cutting down rain forests.

Are you serious? Ok, well, first, you believe in global warming? Hahaha! Plants make oxygen, and global warming is not true.
