Three Little Pigs, Peter and the Wolf, and some German fairy tale I've never heard of called the Wolf and the Seven Young Kids.

The movie "hoodwinked" adds a lot of light to this question. If you watch it you learn that it is not the wolf that is after red riding hood, but the BUNNY. Also that the three pigs are the cause of the houses falling down in a home improvement scheme. The wolf is acutally trying to solve the problem and is a investigative reporter on the case.

Once upon a time there lived a forester who owned a horse that he used to drag the logs out of the forest. Unfortunatelly the horse grew old and weak and could not do his work porperly so the forester decided that it was time to retire the horse. He had no heart to kill his old friend so he took the horse to the bog meadows where he thought surely the wolves would take down the old horse.

So the horse spend the entire summer eating the rich marsh grass and grew stronger again. At the end of the summer a pack of wolves arrived and surrounded the old horse. The horse then said to the wolves: "I am pretty strong. You would have a better chance at taking me down if you would grab hold of my tail. So why don't you put my tail hair between your teeth?" The wolves saw no flaw in this plan, and started setting the horsehair between their teeth.

"Is this enough?" asked the wolves. "No... a bit more" said the horse.

"Ish thish enouff?" asked the wolves then after a while. "No... put a few more hairs in."

"shh hhss yff?" asked the wolves with horse hair stuffed in their mouths. As soon as they answered the question the horse took to a gallop, dragging the pack of defenceless wolves behind.

Ran tam tam BANG! As the wolves skull hit the rocks... Ran tam tam BANG! As another wolf skull split. Ran tam tam BANG! BANG. All the way to the foresters cottage.

The forester comes out hearing the commotion outside and bears wiotness to his old horse, now strong and healthy gallopping into the yard with several dead wolves attached to its tail like ragdolls. He is happy with his horse and took it back to work for a few summers as well as getting well paid for the wolf hides.

I can't remember the name of the fairy tale
In this story, the wolf keeps coming to the little goat kids' house when their mother goes out, and tries to trick them into letting him in.
He first comes to their house and says as sweetly as possible "Your mother is home! let me in children!"
"you're not our mum!" they say "You're voice is too deep and gruff!"
So the wolf goes and eats some honey to make his voice sweet.
He then goes back to the house and says in a sweet voice "Kids! let me come in"
They are about to, when a clever little kid says "If you're really our mother, then show us your hoof!"
The wolf looks down at his hairy brown paw, and runs away.
He finds some flour and dips his paw in to make it nice and white like the goat mothers'.
He then returns to the house and shows them his paw. Upon seeing the wite paw, the kids open the door to him. He then races in and gobbles them up.
The mother goat returns shortly after and finding an empty house, she searches for her beloved kids. Then one little goat (The same clever little one) comes out of the grandfather clock where he was hiding. He is shaking and crying. He tells his mother that the wolf eat his siblings.
The mother is outraged, and goes to find the wolf. She finds him fast asleep and with a HUGE belly. She then slits open his belly, and rescues the kids. He was such a greedy wolf that he had swallowed them whole, and they were all still alive.
They then all gathered some boulders, put them in the wolfs' stomache and the mother goat sewed it up. She then poured some salt in hi8s mouth and they all ran back home.
The wolf then woke up and found himself mad with thirst. He crawled to the nearby river, started to thirstily drink the water, and fell right in, as his belly was so heavy with the rocks. He sank right to the bottom and was never seen again!

Phew! that took me ages! lol. This is the best I can remember it. I always loved this fairy tale as a child, but I can't find it on the internet!
Hope you enjoyed reading it!

I thought Billy Goats Gruff was the one about getting over the bridge, the troll lived underneath - maybe I am wrong. Anyhow what about Chicken Licken? It could have been a fox though OO
