i have always wanted to learn to be a cast in travel programs or any sort of programs that seems challenging. and i must admit that i like to travel to overseas a lot.

I think you mean you would like to appear in travel programs! Well best go to Uni first and study performong arts

A key point -- working as a production assistant on a travel show isn't about traveling. It's about video production. You have to learn to shoot, or edit, or whatever. If that leads to work in a travel-related business, fine.
It's like writing for a newspaper -- covering the Boston Red Sox is all about the writing and reporting. Baseball comes after that.
