This happened with my first two kids. My fundal height was always lower than my gestation. After many ultrasounds and non stress tests, it was determined that I had IUGR (InterUterine Growth Restriction). All that meant was that the baby was smaller than it should be. I delivered them both a little early but they were fine. It can be caused by a lot of things but if that is what you have, there isn't anything that you can do but try to relax! GL!!

There is no reason to worry. You might just have a small baby or the measurement could be off some. My son came out larger than the measurement said and larger than the ultrasound predicted or measured. (my son was born the day I had the ultrasound at the hospital) Keep in mind they are only estimates. If your doctor isn't worried then I wouldn't worry. Your ultrasound will give you peace of mind, once everything comes back fine.
Good luck & Congrats!

As long as the heart rate was normal and the doctor didn't seem worried I wouldn't worry to much about it if I were you. Wait until you have the ultrasound. It will be a better predictor of your baby's weight and any problems that may be going on.
It could just be your baby is small. You may have lost some fluid. Or your just not as far along as originally thought, this may be true especially if you haven't had any previous ultrsounds.
Take it easy and wait for the results of the ultrasound to tell you more. You should be able to get a really good idea of what's going on then, especially if they have 3D and 4D capabilities.

What you mean is the first time you thought you were pregnant you were told a due date based on the first day of your last period! You are measuring smaller then that! You could have been off on your period ovulation! You are fine! Why would there be any concern all babys grow at there own rate! You dont give birth based on how far along you are! You give birth when the baby is ready to come! So relax if there was cause for concern your doctor would have said something!

I was given a due date at my first appointment it said OCT. 18. Then I went in for a measurment at 16 weeks and doctor gave me a different due date which said OCT. 11. Ahh im so confused and don't know which one to stick to. It could be that you're not that far a long yet because of how your baby is growing.

The same thing happen to me. Don't worry about it. My baby weighed 5lbs and 14oz when she was born,(which is fine). When they weigh at least five lbs they are allowed to go home. A lot of things could cause this. My girl is four months now and is fatter than ever. I've took her to the doctor and she is fine. Growing just like every other baby. Not trying to scare you, but help you. If your baby is small doesn't mean she is sick, just small. Don't worry everything will fine.

You don't really need to be concerned, maybe just small baby and it is very common to have 3 or 4 ultrasounds during your pregnancy

It could mean a couple different things, either you're not as far as long as you think. Or your baby is not growing at the rate he/she should and could result in low weight and possible medical problems. Or you just have a small baby and everything is fine. Or low amounts of fluid, you never know, it could be a number of things.
